About the Author
Hal Cope first arrived in Kenya in 1962 to pursue the 'big five': lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and the Cape buffalo. Then he met the late actor William Holden, who turned him away from hunting and onto nature photography. He lives and lectures in Scottsdale, AZ where his wildlife photographs hang in local galleries. Write to him at zebuone@aol.com
