Katie Evans: "How to Lose Weight With
Hypnosis"
OK, so America is fatter than ever. Well, if mind over matter really works, can you apply
that to weight control? Katie Evans, founder of Seattle-based "Lighten Up!" says
she has taught hundreds of people to successfully use self-hypnosis to assist in weight
loss and cessation of smoking. She'll share techniques to tap into your "unconscious
genius". Ms. Evans is the author of "Random Acts to Lighten Up!: Easy Tools to
Redesign Your Body from the Inside Out". http://www.lauralee.com/kevans.htm |

Kenny Ausubel - Visionary Solutions for Restoring the
Earth
The founder of the Bioneers conference, an annual event for ecologists from around the
world, presents a collection of profiles of visionary men and women and their solutions to
the planet's most pressing ecological problems. Restoring the Earth is destined to become
the central enterprise of the years ahead. Leading that effort is a growing movement of
"bioneers," biological pioneers who are using nature to heal nature and working
with individuals, communities, business, and governments to implement real change.
Offering practical solutions for virtually all our critical environmental problems, these
working models hold keys to planetary survival that can be refined, replicated, and
rapidly spread around the world. http://209.245.176.138/ausubel.htm |

Chandra Wickramasinghe & Barry DiGregorio: Microbes
from Outer Space (LIVE)
Renowned astronomer Dr. Wickramasinghe recounts the solid evidence which he and Sir Fred
Hoyle put together over 25 years to make the case for on Panspermia (the theory that life
originated elsewhere in the universe, and is seeded widely by resilient bacteria dispersed
by comets and meteorites). He suggests the same process continues today, bringing microbes
from outer space to Earth, which may account for influenza epidemics which spread too
quickly to be explained by human contact alone. Joining us also is Barry DiGregorio,
author of "Mars: The Living Planet" and head of ICAMSR, the International
Committee Against the Mars Sample Return, who says NASA's plan to bring rock samples back
from Mars is an unwise invitation for further ET microbial contamination of Earth.

brain-mind, from the fields of neurobiology, psychology, philosophy, anthropology and
linguistics. And, some real-world applications and how-to, from learning more in less
time, raising your creativity quotient, to raising smarter children with high self-esteem.

Robert Lawlor: Renaissance Old and New - Part 1
Are we undergoing a renaissance, a rebirth of ancient knowledge? Robert Lawlor believes we
are, and draws parallels to the last renaissance. The last Renaissance began with the
importation and translation of Pythagorean doctrines, and influenced all the innovative
thinkers of the day. Lawlor points out that Pythagorus didn't invent this tradition. It is
the culmination of easily identifiable threads from India, china, Egypt, and tribal
shamanism. What are the basic premises of this tradition? One is that knowledge of self
and cosmos are one and the same integrated field of knowing. Another premise is that a
good model for understanding consciousness and physics are the symmetries of geometric
form and laws of vibration contained in the generation of music. We see today a growing
interest in ancient wisdom, and sacred geometry and sacred music. Links to more info at http://www.lauralee.com/lawlor.htm |

what modern science has to say about the many beneficial attributes of this herb which is
both culinary and medicinal. Just one example of Nature's medicine chest. http://www.kyolic.com/ |

William Glover: The Kennewick Man Controversy
He's back with Part 2 of the story of Kennewick Man, and the history of Isolationism (the
theory that the Americas were cut off from contact with other cultures by wide oceans) vs.
Diffusionism (the theory that many ancient cultures used oceans as highways, built boats,
and traded widely.) We thank William Glover for his in-depth reports: "Kennewick Man

William Glover: The Kennewick Man Controversy (LIVE)
The story of the 9,000 year old skelaton found near Kennewick, Washington and the debate
surrounding his age and what he can tell us about the first settlers of the New World and
their origins, also has implications for Native Americans and the future of any research
into America's past.We thank William Glover for his in-depth reports on Kennewick Man,

Sabrina Mesko: Dial a State of Consciousness (LIVE)
The use of breath, mantras, meditations, visualizations, and prayers to achieve peaceful
and transformative states of consciousness is common. Tonight we explore the branch of
yoga which also use mudras, specific positioning of the arms, hands, and fingers, as well
as eye movements. It works by liberating the energy locked within your body--in energy
channels called nadis and energy centers called chakras, says Yoga teacher Sabrina Mesko,
author of "Healing Mudras: Yoga for Your Hands" http://www.lauralee.com/mesko.htm/ |

Stuart Hameroff: What is Consciousness?
Stuart Hasmeroff investigates the nature of consciousness. What are the current, prevalent
classical explanations for consciousness? Can features of consciousness which resist these
explanations be more readily explained through quantum mechanisms? Enigmatic features of
both quantum mechanics and consciousness have led to a number of proposals suggesting
links between the two. Some have proposed quantum effects in the brain, while others have
suggested a role for consciousness in the interpretation of quantum mechanics. http://www.u.arizona.edu/~hameroff/ |

Gregg Braden: Revival of Lost Spiritual Techniques (LIVE)
Could there be a lost science with the power to heal our bodies, bring a
lasting peace to our world and avoid the greatest tragedies to face humankind?
Twenty-five-hundred-year-old texts, as well as modern science, suggest that the answer to
these and similar questions is a resounding "Yes!" Additionally, through a
language that we are just beginning to understand, we are reminded of two empowering
technologies that allow us to determine the conditions of our bodies, and the future of
our world. Join Gregg Braden as he addresses these topics, updates us on his recent
journeys to Egypt and Tibet, and shares his latest findings on the "lost" Dead
Sea Scroll that unexpectedly resurfaced in late 1999. http://www.greggbraden.com |

Derek Allan: Looking Back at Ancient Castastrophes
Derek Allan details the evidence for a worldwide cataclysm 11,500 years ago. Crustal
shifting, the tilting of Earths axis, mass extinctions, upthrusted mountain ranges,
rising and shrinking land masses, and volcanic eruptions and earthquakes - all indicate
that fateful confrontation with a destructive cosmic. Between the scientific evidence and
the common theme of ancient legends presented, Derek raises some very interesting
questions. Author of Cataclysm! : Compelling Evidence of a Cosmic Catastrophe in 9500

Phil Leonard: Archeoastronomy of the Southwest
Phil Leonard has found Equinox and Solstice indicators in Colorado, that, at these times
of year, play with rays of sun or with the sun's appearance on the horizon. He'll tell us
about petroglyphs lined up with rocks, sighting lines pecked into the rock, and the spiral
and parallel patterns that reveal the sites he has studied as astronomical timekeepers.
